Ms. Lawrence is a native Nevadan and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and minors in geography and communication. She attended McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. Ms. Lawrence attained her law degree in 1986 and was a law clerck for the Honorable Michael R. Griffin, now retired, in the First Judicial District Court in Carson City. After her clerkship she joined the firm in 1987 and became a partner in 1994. She is perhaps one of Nevada’s foremost authorities on public employee labor law, having litigated numerous cases before the Nevada Employee-Management Labor Relations Board. Ms. Lawrence’s practice is also concentrated in the areas of probate law, estate planning, and general legal disputes, corporate and business law.
