Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Ms. Matuska served as a senior attorney for the Nevada Legislature. With her background as a former senior deputy legislative counsel, Ms. Matuska provides analysis and guidance on legislative measures and the legislative process.

Ms. Matuska also advises nonprofit entities and political action committees on the state and federal laws that regulate political advocacy and has advised on the initiative process, from the analysis and drafting stage through litigation and signature gathering to ensure successful placement of an initiative on the ballot.   Ms. Matuska also practices in the area of labor law, both state and federal, and handles appeals to the Nevada Supreme Court.
